On October 8, the Group convened its 2026 fourth‑quarter work meeting in Yancheng. The meeting comprehensively reviewed work performance in the first three quarters, planned and arranged tasks for the fourth quarter, and called on all cadres and employees to swiftly shift from "vacation mode" to "sprint mode" and fight hard for the year‑end closure with a decisive stance. Zhang Naiwen, Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of the Group, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Zang Chong, Deputy Party Committee Secretary and General Manager of the Group, presided over the meeting.

Zhang Naiwen pointed out that since the start of this year, all units of the Group have overcome difficulties and achieved solid progress in various undertakings. Automobile production and sales remained generally stable; substantive breakthroughs were made in smart manufacturing; the traditional energy sector maintained sound benefits; new‑energy businesses and emerging formats accelerated to generate new growth drivers; the real‑estate sector achieved growth against headwinds; and industrial funds were put in place at a faster pace. Overall business operations maintained a sound momentum of making progress while keeping stability and pursuing higher‑quality development, laying a solid foundation for fulfilling the annual targets.
Zhang Naiwen stressed the need to conduct a scientific assessment of the current situation, accurately seize development opportunities, build on the Group’s existing industrial foundation and competitive strengths, and precisely align with policy dividends for the 15th Five‑Year Plan issued by the central, provincial and municipal authorities. We must strengthen confidence, boost morale, rise to challenges, and strive to seize opportunities and secure the initiative for future development.
Zhang Naiwen required that we earnestly implement the spirits of the Municipal Congress of the Party, aim for benchmark performance in building the "Four First‑Class" goals, and go all out to sprint toward full‑year targets.
To pursue first‑class economic returns: seize market opportunities proactively, strictly control costs and expenses, step up efforts to dispose of non‑core businesses and non‑performing assets, speed up project construction and project pipeline development, and set benchmarks in value creation.
To pursue first‑class products: focus on sectors including automobiles, agricultural machinery, special‑purpose vehicles, textiles, real estate and service industries, and carry out sustained large‑scale inspections, rectification and improvement of product quality to set benchmarks in quality and brand building.
To pursue first‑class management: further deepen the reform of the three institutional systems, resolutely guard against risks in capital management, trade, bidding and tendering, work safety and other areas, and set benchmarks in reform‑driven initiatives.
To pursue first‑class talent workforce: leverage assessment as the "baton", build a robust talent pool, erect a solid "firewall" for integrity and clean governance, and set benchmarks in commitment and responsible performance.
Zang Chong summarized and analyzed the Group’s business performance from January to September and deployed work for the fourth quarter. He emphasized that we should benchmark assessment targets and concentrate efforts on project advancement, market expansion, loss reduction and turnaround, risk prevention and control and other key work to ensure the successful accomplishment of full‑year objectives. We shall focus on core businesses, accelerate construction of ongoing projects, push for the landing of projects under negotiation, and ensure follow‑up delivery of projects in the pipeline. We shall enhance internal‑external coordination, boost sales of key products such as automobiles, photovoltaic products and real‑estate properties, improve domestic, overseas and online marketing systems, and comprehensively strengthen quality management. We shall take multi‑pronged measures to keep making headway in loss governance, keep a close eye on cost reduction, reinforce disposal of non‑core businesses and non‑performing assets, and effectively improve operational efficiency. We shall further advance scientific and technological innovation, promote in‑depth integration of artificial intelligence into business operations in a coordinated manner, and substantially boost the Group’s core competitiveness. We shall strengthen corporate governance of legal‑person entities, strictly contain capital risks, guard against trade risks, and hold the bottom line for work safety. He urged all units across the Group to communicate, study and implement the meeting spirits earnestly, readjust working status promptly, coordinate business operations with safety and stability, and fully commit themselves to the initiative of "Striving Hard in the Fourth Quarter".
The meeting reported progress on key initiatives including the Group’s International Market Expansion Year campaign, Q3 follow‑up evaluation results, investment promotion and project breakthroughs. Platform companies and relevant subsidiaries delivered exchange speeches.
